Environmental Management at Factories

Along our business development based on the "1R + 3R" environmental vision, the PLUS Group Companies strive to achieve an environmental system that meets today's challenging requirements.
1R (Restructure), from the guideline optimal environmental system standpoint adopted for all business activities, essentially calls for constant reviewing of all business activities with a view to eliminating overlaps in the process of developing products, distribution and service system, while furthering customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the 1R + 3R concepts, namely Restructure, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle are central to our group companies' expanding unique
environment-related businesses, offering the customer ever-enhanced evironmentally-friendly values.

Vietnam Plant

Material Recycling & Reclaiming, and Reduction of Material Consumption

At our manufacturing plant in Bien Hoa Industrial Zone in Vietnam, we reprocess plastic waste generated from plastic injection molding, using a robot arm to feed waste to a pulverizer for converting into reusable
plastic material.
Improvement to the replacements of polypropylene sheet rolls for
production of clear folders by using 800m-long rolls instead of the
previous 600m has reduced the replacement frequency by 10 times and plastic waste 9kgs daily.



Maebashi Plant

Utilization of Wood Residues From Large-scale Dust Collector

At our ATELIER Factory located inside the Maebashi Plant, large quantities of wood residues discharged from production process through ducts and collected in the dust collection system are converted into pellets of about 10cm
diameter, then delivered to local dairy farmers for use as cowshed bedding alternative to straw traditionally.
Composted manure, a by-product being the mixture of woodwaste and animal excrements is then utilized in cultivating pasture where cows graze, materializing a natural recycling process. In addition, the purified air effluence from the dust collection system is put to full use in running the factory's circulatory systems such as airconditioning, ventilating, and the like.
